Submit
* First of all:
We try to filter out submissions that are duplicates of sites we already have on file. Please search the site for the domain you’re about to submit before submitting it.
Since Tumblr’s search is broken beyond repair. Please use Google or the search engine of your choice to search for “[domainname] site:plaintextoffenders.com” (sans quotes).
e.g.: tesco site:plaintextoffenders.com
* What to send:
Send us an image of the proof that the website in question is storing your password in plain-text (for instance a screenshot of the email you got containing the password). An email with your password sent to you at any time except after registering is much more preferable (such as an email sent after clicking “forgot password” or getting it in password reminders), but an email containing your password as confirmation for registering is OK too.
* Safety:
Remember to always blank out the details you don’t want shown on the website. Please include the site’s domain and an explanation of what the website is in the description.
* Moderation:
Submissions moderated and then queued for publication.
* Anonymity:
1. Tumblr does not keep you anonymous if you submit from a Tumblr account. If you want to remain anonymous, please use your email address.
2. Please use a valid email address. If we have doubts or questions about your submission and don’t have someone to talk to, the only option we have left would be to delete it.
